Caution - I saw this provider years ago & it led to oral surgery a couple years later. I decided to look into the reviews & most of them seem to be from family & friends. Many of the below reviews have been copied and pasted to be used as reviews of his other offices. There are at least 7 offices/websites across PDX/Vancouver that state he is the dentist for. Honestly I feel like this provider is out there to make the most money possible, and he will hop around the metro area to get as many root canals done as possible. A few years ago I had severe tooth pain & saw Dr. Lee in SE Portland on Division St. He performed a root canal that failed. It ended up costing me tons of money and I remained in pain. I had to eventually get the tooth pulled because a small part of the nerve had been left. After it was pulled I had to go to an oral surgeon to remove a piece of material that had been pushed down too far & infected my bone. After the root canal failed, I called and came in for an exam. I was told that things looked okay & that It didn’t make sense that I was in pain since he had performed a successful root canal. Dr Lee is a wonderful dentist, always caring. His staff is always friendly and accommodating each time I come in. They make me always at ease so nice I have always had a fear of the dentist. I am always happy with his work and would never want to change dentists

I have seen many dentist in my life and I don't think I will be looking for a new dentist EVER again! Dr. John Lee is not only competent but exceptionally skilled, efficient, passionate and pain free. He did my first and only root canal treatment and I have been beyond thrilled! He eased all my anxiety and informed me of every step before, during and after treatment. I highly recommended Dr John Lee to all my friends and family!

If you are looking for a right dentist for you and your family members, Dr. Lee would be the one. Dr. Lee did amazing work for me. I had an infection on my gum tissue without any pain or toothache. Dr. Lee figured out the tooth had been dying for 10 plus years ever since my ortho treatment was done. He did RCT on that tooth and put a nice looking Crown. The crown looks so natural like a real tooth. I am very happy with that. Hopefully I do not need more root canal treatments, but I recommend all people who need successful root canals done.

I usually have a difficult time at the dentist because the numbing medication doesn't work very well on me. However I was pleasantly surprised during my visit here. It was a quick and painless experience which is pretty good for a dental appointment lol. Dr. Lee was very professional and I'd recommend him to anyone.
